This advice was given to me at the very beginning of my career in hairdressing (circa 2008) and has come to form the core values of e.g.hair.
I love hair, but it is my passion for people and their stories that keeps me inspired after all these years.
At 19 I was lucky enough to get an apprenticeship at a bustling inner city salon in Brisbane. It was here that I received a priceless education in all aspects of hairdressing including session styling and photographic competition work.
2012 saw a change of pace, moving to the Gold Coast and settling in to a senior role at a luxury boutique salon.
A husband and 2 kids later and here I am working from my own home and on location for weddings and events.
It is a blessing to have creative freedom and flexibility for myself, my clients and my family.
